Its been a good six months since I said I would start doing a blog and I couldn't get my head around it with trying to draw as well as understand the blogging concept.
I thought it would be a good time to rekindle the fascination With Two weeks of Sketch Book Skool left & We are about to take Pearl away, so some serious on road sketching to trial and with Kristmas Kards also to be designed and sent to Klassmates OS, Liz Steele classes about to start I thought it a good time to start as I have nothing else to do???

(This is Pearl, our new caravan (poptop) for our 30 year wedding anniversary)

I have a dedicated sketchbook for our Peal adventures, here is an Andrea Joseph inspired interior of Pearl with me sitting at the table.

I've packed four books to go through

The Urban Sketcher: Techniques for Seeing and Drawing on Location (Paperback)By (author) Marc Taro Holmes
One Drawing a Day: A 6-week Course Exploring Creativity with Illustration and Mixed Media (One A Day) (Paperback) By (author) Veronica Lawlor
Freehand Drawing and Discovery: Urban Sketching and Concept Drawing for Designers Hardcover – February 4, 2013
by James Richards

Not to forget Gabriel Campanarios Architecture & cityscapes Tips for drawing on Location

Each of them is different with me trying to develop a less detailed human presence in my urban sketches they all have great ideas.
PS I have to stop buying books now!

What is the obsession with all these books? (playing My obsession by Icehouse on pc... coincidence or what???). I do really like books and I enjoy flicking through them, I'll pick one up and read and draw a little at night, perhaps its my libran nature to not be able to chose one and stay with it.
